So, I have officially left my job as a Content Marketing Specialist at GaiGai/Paktor. It has been an amazing 1.5 years, and I am very appreciative of all opportunities they have given me while I was there.
I have met tonsssss of really wonderful, inspirational and lovely individuals while I was there, up until the last 1 week of serving my notice. You know who you guys are! I always make my feelings known! 😛 I am really really honoured that I was also able to work with a very competent, humble and generous team in marketing. They’ve made work feel so much less workish.

Having said that, I looked back in my time since I graduated, and decided that hitting 25 would be a year of change and stepping out of my comfort zone. I could still remain contented and happy in the same job, but I wanted to try something new, explore new opportunities and put myself out there.

Besides being able to hone some of my skills, I feel that working here has made me a lot more confident as a person. It has made me seen a lot more, experienced a lot more, albeit good or bad. I have also gone through really bad times [personal matters] and I have learnt a lot more about myself as an individual. Unfortunately, I discovered that my threshold for emotional B.S. is pretty damn high, as I have learnt from a friend recently lol.
But yes, what doesn’t kill you makes you a lot stronger.

To this group of OGs, I want to say I love you guys so much and thank you for taking such good care of me even when I was such a stupid little girl. To Kaile, Alex, JT and Jada, for being there and guiding me whenever I needed help – whether it was personal or work matters. Thank you for being almost siblings to me. Thank you for always having my back and being people I want to keep in my life. :’) And of course, the other crazy girls I’ve met at GaiGai that I still hang out with.
In the later half of my life in GaiGai, I switched from events to content marketing. I was placed in a new team, under a new mentor. But I learnt a lot and met a lot of humble and smart individuals. You guys know who you are, and I am looking forward to the day we work together again – I mean it!

I’m starting my new job at a new place in a new and very exciting industry in a week. Still doing marketing, but I know there will be a lot more to learn. I look forward to being able to write more and learn more.
Thank you people for the well wishes, concerned messages [about me leaving the company] and lastly, don’t miss me on those ads! 😛
